Detailed Description |
The Terrace:
~ Downstairs: living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry, powder room, side outdoor space and a second large room we will make into a rumpus room.
~ Upstairs: 3 bedrooms (yours is unfurnished), linen cupboard and shared bathroom.
~ Brand new carpet, flooring, new kitchen, bathroom, interior and exterior painting, and cellar ventilation and exhaust fans to keep under the house dry.
~ Also have Wi-Fi internet, Foxtel, and AppleTV.
Whilst the majority of the place is furnished, we still need to fill up the dining and rumpus room. So if you have a large couch, dining table, entertainment unit etc., we have space for that :)
The Room:
~ Unfurnished, no built ins, 2.88m x 3.94m.
Housemates:
We are both fairly laid back guys, fit and active on the weekends, and work full-time during the week. Rob is in his 30’s and on his way to becoming a barrister. I'm almost joining Rob in the 30s club and have recently relocated from Brisbane to start a role with a retail/property development company. We've been friends since meeting at Mardi Gras a few years back. Both enjoy getting outside on the weekends, heading to the beach, catching up with mates, and a bit of banter at the end of the day.
Ideally looking for a male housemate with a similar attitude, working full time, experience living in a shared house (clean and tidy in common areas, pay bills and rent on time etc), easy going and can be a part of our home. You won’t find a cleaning roster, or designated shelves in the pantry here.
The $$:
Whilst minor finishes are still being completed, including a revamp of the secure carport/back garden, rent is 50% ($150). The internet (wi-fi) and Foxtel is extra on top of the weekly rent. Electricity, gas to be paid as the bills come in and we will also be getting a cleaner.
Break down:
Rent: $300 p/w or $320 p/w if you want the carport too. $150 until the back carport is finished.
Bills: $58 p/m (internet and Foxtel)
Cleaner: about $30 a fortnight (need to get one first) |
